Palme, Elia

Short Bio

Elia Palme is a Ph.D. candidate at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich (ETH Zürich) at the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics.

He obtained his Master degrees in Computer Science from the University of Fribourg. His master thesis is on Stereo Vision Library for Obstacle Avoidance Applications.

In 2005 he obtained his EIA-FR engineering diploma, the thesis was made at the University of Calgary, Canada.
In 2007 he obtained his UNIFR master diploma, the thesis was made at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
From 2007 to 2008 he worked has research collaborator for the EPFL and the HEFR institute. In the meantime he also worked as research associate at SAP Research (Switzerland).

His research interests include mobile commerce, distributed information systems, and consumer behavior.
